Life is Better with Chickens

We have been loving life with our chickens. Zandros named them Wanda, Tinkerbell & Brave. The kids are all so amused with them. Z loves caring for them, he catches grasshoppers and hand feeds them to the chickens and Solla & Winter stare, laugh, point and scream "BUCK BUCK!" & "CHI CHI CHI!" We are loving the fresh eggs daily, the reduced amount of slugs in our garden & the hours of entertainment. They have also inspired many Arrested Development chicken impressions, which I find hysterical. (If you haven't seen Arrested Development, you should youtube the chicken scenes, so so good!) The chickens break out daily and wander around the yard, walk down to the river and freak the dogs out. We are hoping to find some other chickies to come and join our little crew soon. The more the merrier!
