Sometimes I like a little sweetness in my life, and adding raw cacao to smoothies is a healthy way to get that!
What you'll need:
-Two cups of kale
-1 cup of almond milk
-1/2 cup frozen strawberries
-2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
-A dash of cinnamon
-A few pinches of chia seeds
For this smoothie, I blended the greens and almond milk first, then added the rest of the ingredients all at once. Kale and raw cacao are both a bit bitter, so if you don't like that taste (I do) you might want to add more strawberries or a little bit of honey. The 1/2 cup of strawberries sweetened it enough for me though!
