Newborn Photos (and a little announcement!)

Meet Wayland: the cutest and sweetest little babe in all the land! I took these photos in the morning last Sunday after he hadn't slept for several hours, and he was pure perfection! This may or may not have something to do with the fact that he has awesome parents and the best big fur-brother in the world. Kris and Ryan were sleep deprived, but you honestly would never know it! They looked so happy and cozy and if I didn't know otherwise I would swear that they had slept for 12 hours before I got there. They are the cutest little fam, and I'm so glad that I was able to capture these sweet snapshots for them. Blogging for the past 10 months has made Samantha and I both realize that we love how lifestyle photography can really capture moments in a way that more traditional, posed photos cannot. I mean, posed photos are lovely, but we think that doing them in the most natural way possible is key to a getting our favorite kind of photo. With that being said, we've decided to start Brightly & Free Photography! We have the most experience shooting kiddos and families, but we'd love to branch out to engagements, weddings..anything really! This is something we're both passionate about, and we can't wait to start capturing beautiful moments and memories. A website will be coming in the near future, but for now we have a Facebook page.
