This week has been a tad crazy. The holidays are always wild & add an extra dose of chaos and push us right over the edge into full blown insanity. Solla has been teething and super cranky. Constantly saying things like "No, baby! go!" (she and Winter call each other 'baby') or "GO ZZ! NOOOOOO!" screeching at the top of her lungs. Occasionally she will whip out new things we had no idea she could say. The other morning when we woke up to a blanket of white snow she opened the curtain and said "Snow outside, cold cars!" Winter loves being silly, playing rock, paper, scissors, eating as much turkey as possible & spinning in circles and singing "Dooooooeeee, DOOOOEEEE" for "Let it Go"...'tis the season for Frozen! Z has been drawing and painting up a storm. It's still so insane for me to watch kids learn. No one "taught" him how to draw people & robots or write letters. We didn't focus on it at all. It's amazing what motivation can do! He one day just KNEW how to create what he had in mind & is now really interested in reading and is slowly sounding out words. He's learning & growing, bit by bit.xxSamantha
